How do I install apps on CachyOS?
Every app on this site is in the official cachyos repo, so one command does it: sudo pacman -S name. Each app page shows the exact package name.
Are these apps safe to install?
This site lists only apps packaged in the official CachyOS repo. Those are signed packages, and pacman checks each signature against the CachyOS repository key before it installs anything. There are no AUR build scripts to read. As with any software, read the app page and the reviews, and install what you need.
Why no AUR?
The AUR is a large community collection of build scripts, and the CachyOS wiki advises checking each PKGBUILD before you build one. This site keeps to one simple rule instead: only apps packaged in the official CachyOS repo, so every guide is a plain pacman command with no AUR helper needed.
Is there an app store for CachyOS?
CachyOS ships graphical package managers such as Octopi and Shelly in its own repo. CachyOS Apps is an independent guide with one page per app, the exact command and visitor reviews.
What does the trust bar mean?
It is a score out of 100 built from real signals only: on-site reviews, GitHub stars, Arch install share, recent updates and the tone of GitHub feedback. It stays grey until there is enough review data.
