    1. As pressure-vessel is already using bwrap internally it would be awesome to use it to prevent games from accessing files outside of the WINEPREFIX that are not needed to run the game or disable internet access. This was already mentioned in #130 but as this issue is about another…

    2. I'm packaging the Forged Alliance Forever client in flatpak and got it working pretty quickly, but the matter of actually running the game is another topic. Having the program open but unable to run the game is no fun. We want to leverage umu's already enormous amount of work to…

    3. If your internet connection is poor, you may experience problems downloading the runtime. Details: If you launch umu using a GUI launcher like Faugus-launcher, the problem becomes completely invisible to the user. I reported this bug, and upstream reasonably responded that they…

    6. It looks like umu-launcher already has a Flatpak manifest, but it's not on Flathub yet. Any plans on publishing umu-launcher to Flathub in the future?

    7. How to run an application in the same pressure-vessel? Without it, second application cannot access memory of the first application. They do run in the same prefix.

    8. I noticed that for the last couple releases the various distribution packages have come zipped up instead of the “naked” packages being attached to the release. I’m assuming there is a reason for it, but running dnf install is way more convenient than downloading an archive,…

    9. When using umu, it downloads UMU-Proton in /.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d/. I had a "Wine Mono Installer" popup when I launched Steam today. I found it odd since I hadn't launched any games. I checked the process list and found that Steam was doing something with…

    10. After extraction the downloaded wine files are placed into $HOME/.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d. This makes sense so that Steam can pick those up and also use those as compatibility layers. However, Steam itself places itself into $XDGDATAHOME/Steam and has no idea of…

    11. When $HOME/.local/share/umu is a symlink to a directory outside $HOME (for example, umu's data moved to a games drive), every launch fails before Proton starts: The shim exists on the host. Inside the pressure-vessel container, $HOME is shared, so the symlink /.local/share/umu is…
