How do I install Faugus Launcher on CachyOS?

Run this in a terminal, then open Faugus Launcher from your app menu:

sudo pacman -S faugus-launcher

faugus-launcher is in the cachyos repo, the CachyOS project's own package repository, so pacman installs it directly with no AUR helper and no build script. The package is signed with the CachyOS repository key, and pacman checks the signature before it installs.

What should I do after installing Faugus Launcher?

  1. Open Faugus Launcher from your app menu.
  2. Or run faugus-launcher in a terminal.
  3. Run pacman -Qi faugus-launcher to see the installed version and the optional dependencies.

How do I update or remove Faugus Launcher?

Update:

sudo pacman -Syu

Remove:

sudo pacman -Rns faugus-launcher
