How do I install rxvt-unicode (truecolor) on CachyOS?

Run this in a terminal, then open rxvt-unicode (truecolor) from your app menu:

sudo pacman -S rxvt-unicode-truecolor-wide-glyphs

rxvt-unicode-truecolor-wide-glyphs is in the cachyos repo, the CachyOS project's own package repository, so pacman installs it directly with no AUR helper and no build script. The package is signed with the CachyOS repository key, and pacman checks the signature before it installs.

What should I do after installing rxvt-unicode (truecolor)?

  1. Open rxvt-unicode (truecolor) from your app menu.
  2. It installs these commands: urclock, urxvt, urxvt-tabbed, urxvtc and urxvtd.
  3. Run pacman -Qi rxvt-unicode-truecolor-wide-glyphs to see the installed version and the optional dependencies.
