    2. We currently use GitHub. In the context of #12526 it has been suggested to move to a different git forge and several people have expressed their support for such a change. The main reasons to move off of GitHub as I see it are: their push of LLM features without a way of…

    3. As discussed in #12526, this is an issue requesting an LLM policy. I'm a bit surprised that an LLM policy request wasn't made since. The negatives have already been stated in that issues, so I won't repeat them here. I am creating this because I found a commit from someone using…

    4. Currently, Fish shell autosuggestions are based on command history. While I love this, it would be beneficial to allow users to implement their own autosuggestion logic. This would open the door to powerful enhancements, such as AI-based completions that leverage historical…

    9. As I've alluded to before, I think we should stop listening to the terminfo database entirely. This is because: we barely use it it is frequently wrong it is massively incomplete and shows no signs of improving it does not have versioning so old entries remain in use even on new…

    10. fish 4.2.0 on Linux I use alt+backspace very heavily when cd'ing around to remove one level at a time from the path. This broke with the latest update. Now backward-kill-token removes the entire path. I can't (easily) tell when it broke exactly, because Fedora only ships a 4.0…
