How do I install AmneziaWG tools on CachyOS?

Run this in a terminal:

sudo pacman -S amneziawg-tools

amneziawg-tools is in the cachyos repo, the CachyOS project's own package repository, so pacman installs it directly with no AUR helper and no build script. The package is signed with the CachyOS repository key, and pacman checks the signature before it installs.

What should I do after installing AmneziaWG tools?

  1. It installs these commands: awg and awg-quick.
  2. Run pacman -Qi amneziawg-tools to see the installed version and the optional dependencies.

How do I update or remove AmneziaWG tools?

Update:

sudo pacman -Syu

Remove:

sudo pacman -Rns amneziawg-tools

      Amnezia PPA doesn't have any packages for 25.10 (Questing, latest release) and only seems to have amneziawg-dkms package for 25.04 (Plucky). So there is currently no easy way to use Amnezia CLI for Ubuntu users 😢
