Install Heroic Games Launcher with pacman

  1. Install heroic-games-launcher from the official cachyos repo. pacman checks the package signature before it installs.
    sudo pacman -S heroic-games-launcher

First run

  1. Open Heroic from your app menu and log in with an existing Epic Games, GOG or Amazon account.
  2. Install a game from your library, or import a game that is already installed. Heroic can also sync with an existing Epic Games Store install.

Key settings

  1. On Linux, games run with Wine or Proton, and Heroic can download custom Wine and Proton versions for you.
  2. Turn on cloud save sync, set up custom themes, and sort your collection with your own categories.
  3. Add games and applications from outside GOG, Epic and Amazon to the library.

Common fixes

A game has broken or missing files

Heroic can install, uninstall, update, repair and move games, so run a repair on the game.

Will this game run on Linux?

Heroic shows ProtonDB and Steam Deck compatibility information and can search ProtonDB for the game. Online play with anti cheat on Linux depends on the game.

Uninstall Heroic Games Launcher

  1. Remove heroic-games-launcher and the dependencies nothing else needs.
    sudo pacman -Rns heroic-games-launcher
