Remove:

sudo pacman -Rns umbriel

    1. Scratchpad windows are always floating, so when a scratchpad holds more than one window they land stacked directly on top of each other. I keep a couple of always-on-top communication/media apps in one scratchpad, and every time I summon it I can only see the topmost window — the…

    2. Add i3-style tabbed containers: a per-container layout mode where multiple windows share one tile's space, only the active window is drawn, and a thin tab bar switches between them. This mirrors i3/sway's layout tabs. Raised this previously in Discord with Lemmy, who indicated it…

    4. Disconnecting the secondary monitor pushes all windows that were on the disconnected monitor on the first workspace of the remaining monitor. This is inconvenient and requires a lot of manual re-arranging windows around. My use case is that I use a laptop which I frequently need…

    5. In dwindle mode windows open to the bottom or to the right. If you have followsfocus and you are at the left or the top half of the window, you can end up focusing the previous window by accident. The feature I'd like: . Existing layout behavior (scrolling, dwindle, master) There…

    6. Some games like Path of Exile 1 & 2 might require FIFO constraints in order to work properly on native wayland. There is no workarounds. Wayland protocol support Commit-timing allows applications to set the earliest time the compositor should apply the commit. It can be used for…

    7. When Umbriel opens a new window it spawns in the final screen position. But because the viewport is still focused on the old window it causes an overlap and a relative sliding motions between the windows. There is a similar overlap and relative motion happening with the closing…

    11. I've got an idea, how about adding an "aspect ratio" window rule to make PiP windows stay 16/9 for example upon resizing. This way you prevent black bars and fiddling around with a window or some sort if "fixed aspect ratio" so of you resize a window, it will automatically keep…

    13. When I move a window to the scratchpad and then open/show the scratchpad, the window itself appears correctly, but its shadow is rendered with a noticeable delay. The shadow does not appear at the same time as the window, there’s a clear lag. 1. Open any window (e.g. a terminal).…
