Enhance the "Move new windows to last zone" feature by also updating the last-used zone when a snapped window is focused, not just when a window is snapped. The mlastUsedZoneId is only updated when a window is snapped to a zone: This means if you have windows in zones 1, 2, and…

Add the ability to activate the zone overlay while dragging a window by holding a mouse button (e.g. right click), similar to FancyZones' "non-primary mouse button to toggle zone activation" — enabling one-handed tiling with the mouse. From: Discussion #77

Left open by PR #1129, which listed it under "Known remaining". PR #1129 widens a scrolling column to the size a window actually commits. That only works for Wayland clients. An X11 or XWayland window that commits larger than its column never reports it, so the column keeps its…

Left open by PR #1129, which listed it under "Known remaining". PR #1129 widens a scrolling column when its window commits wider than the column. It does not do the same across the strip. A window that commits taller than its tile in a horizontal strip, or wider in a vertical…

Some daemon D-Bus methods are meant to be called only by the KWin effect, but nothing checks who calls them. Any process on the session bus can call: org.plasmazones.Scrolling.reportCommittedSize (added by PR #1129). A forged call can teach a scrolling column a floor up to the…

Found during the PR #1129 audit (finding CR3-3). PR #1129 documents this trade-off but doesn't fix it. PR #1129 gives a column a remembered peek width when its client commits wider than the column. A column that only ever straddles the viewport edge, and is never shown whole,…
