    1. It would be nice to have an option to have the cursor warp when the focused window changes (through a keybind), in the same way as focusfollowsmouse=yes behaves in sway. This is important especially when the newly focused window is not on the currently focused output, resulting…

    3. Hi! I found out about this project and I'm really interested and amazed by it! But I found that there's no official community (like a discord server, matrix channel, subreddit, ...etc) Having a place like this will really help people who are interested (like me) to be able to…

    6. This is something that I feel Jay could offer that's missing from other "i3/sway-like" window managers. This can be done in sway/i3 with a script that interacts with the IPC, but this doesn't work in Jay and would be nice to include directly in Jay regardless. A great UX thing to…

    7. I'm going to implement this myself (unless others would like to), I'd just like to discuss some design decisions: Right now, Jay has a fairly mouse-centric design. If you have two monitors, with a window focused on one monitor, and your mouse located on another: Opening a new…

    8. I really like jay and I would like to thank you for the great effort you have put into the project. But i3 like tiling is not something I am looking for right now. I would like to try out ideas like stacking window management (like or Scrolling window management (like or but…

    9. I wanna disable the window title bar, but that makes it harder for me to determine which window is focused. A distinct border colour for both focused and unfocused window which could make it easier to differentiate.

    10. Not the same as as that calls for Jay's Xwayland implemention to be replaced entirely. I would be interested in a setting that allows xwayland-satellite to be used instead of Jay's Xwayland implementation. There's already support for compositor integration for xwayland-satellite,…

    11. I noticed composited flip of any content looks slightly worse or dull compared to direct scan out of the same content. Its a very small difference, like a 1% difference. Here's how you can test this, I'd like if you'll use mpv but you can use any program. First turn off show-bar…

    15. Enabling HDR in Firefox by setting gfx.colormanagement.hdr to true in about:config and then going to play a video from a file or on YouTube (doesn't matter if it's HDR or not) causes a Firefox crash: HDR doesn't actually have to be enabled in Jay for the crash to occur. I can…
